A FREE PROGRAM FOR CHURCHES

This form should be filled out by clergy, administrators, or others in charge of communication and technology needs for that church. Digital disciples are people associated with our churches who are providing their expertise in one or more of these areas (see below). Once this form is filled out, requests will be matched according to expertise and churches will be connected with a digital disciple. The diocese acts solely as a broker for these services and, apart from paying the digital disciple, does not accept any liability. Churches are asked, if possible, to supplement payment to tech disciples or pay for any travel costs.

Tech disciples are selected because they have expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Audio and video production, either taped or live-streamed
• Live event production and/or taping of events for future broadcast
• Deep understanding of live video delivery systems
• Significant understanding of IP networks; experience with live video encoding hardware; deep understanding of video codecs
• Video editing and knowledge of video editing tools
• Analysis and insights based upon stream metrics
• Analysis of social media metrics (Facebook, YouTube)
• Experience creating a content calendar for social media useful as well
• Build stream creative elements and pitch new ideas to church leadership, following brand, legal, and livestream creative guidelines.
• Provide onsite technical support for live-streamed events.
